Very old variety, crossing of Ponderosa' and 'Dwarf Champion', introduced in 1909 by W.A. Burpee.
Pink fruit of around 300 grams, beefsteak type, flattened at the poles, ribbed at the top and with more or less plump shoulders.
Good, well-balanced flavor of heirloom tomatoes.
Sturdy plant with a stocky habit and small development, regular rugosa foliage, determined growth.
Harvests from mid-season, +/- 80 days, note the first fruits are the largest, the following are of lower caliber.
