Old heirloom more than 100 years old, native to Madison County, Kentucky.
Large, flattened, beefsteak-like fruit weighing +/- 400 grams, 9 to 10 cm in diameter and 6 to 7 cm high, with rounded or curved shoulders.
Yellow color with pink on the apical part at maturity. Strong depression at the peduncular attachment; 7 sepals.
Juicy and fleshy flesh, good sweet taste without acidity.
Good production of fruit with homogeneous size, contrary to most heirlooms.
