Variety resulting from a spontaneous cross between Yellow Brandywine and an unknown parent. Dehybridized and stabilized by Carolyn Homme for 5 years, published in 1996 with Craig LeHoullier. One of the 100 varieties cited in Carolyn Male's book "100 Heirloom tomatoes for the American garden.

Large fruit weighing 300 to 900 grams, red with orange shoulders, round and slightly flattened, with the beginnings of ribbing at the top.

Firm, juicy, beefy flesh with an excellent, mild flavor.

A variety with dense potato foliage, vigorous growth and good heat tolerance.

Although it produces from mid-season onwards, production is higher in the second half of the season.
