Heirloom native to the USA. Large pink fruit, flattened and ribbed in the upper part that can weigh more than a kilo.

A fixed heirloom variety from the Black Mountain region of Harlan County, Kentucky, whose seed was found on an abandoned farm in 1993.

Large pink fruit, flattened and ribbed at the top, weighing up to one kilo. Wide, corky depression at deep peduncular attachment, continuing into talwegs.

Very dense, garnet-striped beef flesh with exceptional flavor.

Medium development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.

Average production from mid-season.
