Heirloom dating back to at least 1885, native to Michigan, USA.

Large reddish-pink fruit of 400 to 800 grams, beefsteak type mostly flattened at the poles and ribbed at the top. Deep depression at the peduncular attachment.

Dense beef flesh with a creamy texture, very few seeds. Delicious flavor.

Plant with great development, potato foliage, indeterminate growth.

Production in the second part of the season.

Tendency to burst in talwegs.
