Variety native to the USA.

Orange fruit of 300 to 600 grams of beefsteak type with an irregular shape the more the size will be important. Mostly flattened at the poles, ribbed more or less deeply at the top and with rounded or curved or lobed shoulders. Bunch of 3 to 4 fruits. Depression at the peduncular attachment wide, corky and deep. Thin skin that peels easily.

Fleshy and juicy beef flesh with an excellent sweet flavor well enhanced by a note of bitterness.

Plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.

Mid-season production (+/- 75 days).

NB: the name "Big Orange" being a generic name, there are many different varieties with the same name.
