Heirloom variety collected by Rita De Clercq from Flemish farmers during her collection of old varieties in 2007. The best known varieties are: "Belgian farmer's beefsteak", "Belgian heart" and "Rita Black pear".
Big red beefsteak type fruit of +/- 250 grams, round and flattened shape with a beginning of ribbing in the upper part.
Beefy flesh, sweet flavor with a touch of acidity.
Plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good mid-season production.
