Old variety of French origin from the region of Taninges in Haute Savoie.
Orange-red fruit weighing 180 to 300 grams, variable in shape: oval to heart-shaped, 5 to 8 cm in diameter and 8 to 12 cm long.
Pink beef meat, red gel containing few seeds. Creamy and melting texture,
Mild and sweet flavor, to be consumed barely ripe because then loses its flavor.
Vigorous plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good and regular production fairly early in the season.
Good disease resistance.
