Very rare variety from Afghanistan, introduced in the USA in 1937 by Tom Kleffman. (In Persian Banjam Rumi means tomato)

Small fruit of 100 to 150 grams, round and flattened, deeply ribbed over its upper half.

Orange -yellow dress with very fine skin.

Very juicy flesh. Very soft and sweet flavor.

Plant with great development, rather narrow, regular foliage, indefinite growth.

Long and regular production from mid-season until frosts.

NB: There is a red version.
