AUNT SWARLOW POLISH PLUM

Polish cultivar. Big red fruit of irregular shape with heart-shaped tendency, from 250 to 600 grams.

Originally from Poland, Bill Menkey's aunt from Wisconsin brought the seed back from a trip there in 2003. Featured in the 2006 Seed Savers Yearbook. Introduced commercially by TatianaTomatoBase in 2014.

Large red fruit, weighing 250 to 600 grams, irregularly shaped with a cordiform tendency, well-marked ribbing at the top and wavy shoulders.

Flesh very fleshy, thick, moderately juicy and with very small pockets containing very few seeds. Excellent sweet flavor.

The skin peels off easily, making it an excellent choice for sauces and coulis.

Regular, wispy, delicate foliage, indeterminate growth.

Generous harvests from mid-season.
