An heirloom variety, this tomato is native to the Santa Clara Valley area from a cross made by a man named John who grew it for 50 years before donating it to Amos Coli and who himself donated it to Brad Gates in 2012 at the National Heirloom Exposition in Santa Rosa.

Small red fruit with an elongated shape.

Paste-like flesh containing little/no gel and seeds.

Great growth plant, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
