Legend or reality? This variety was reportedly found floating on the Ohio River during a flood, picked up by Abe Hall, a boater. Introduced in the 1997 Seed Savers Yearbook.

Large pink fruit that can reach 500 grams of beefsteak type, flattened and with wavy or even curved shoulders for the larger ones.

Beef meat with a very good flavor.
